I was listening to one of my favorite teachers, Michael Beckwith, recently and he said, “It is clear that the mute button has been turned off for women!” It causes a standing ovation in his audience!
I was cheering too! And I thought about all the times my mute button was on.
All the times I didn’t say what I thought or felt because I didn’t want to upset someone.
All the times I didn’t ask for what I wanted.
All the times when I nodded my head or smiled in approval when, I really didn’t agree.
I’m here to say, my mute button is off!
I am clear about what I want and need. I can ask for what I want and need.
I can speak my truth whether I think others will agree or not.
I want your mute button to be off too!
I love to talk about empowerment and authenticity. Sometimes people ask me what those words really mean.
That’s what they mean.
Your mute button is off.
You know and ask for what you need.
You speak your truth.
You’re not overly concerned with whether others agree with you or not.
You love and live in service to yourself and give generously to others out of your overflow.
When I coach people, you could say, I coach them into turning off their mute button, wherever it got turned on. Because that’s where freedom lives. If you want to explore how to work with me, it’s easy. Just book a 15 minute Connection Call and we’ll know at the end of the call if I’m the right coach for you and if now is the right time. 💜 Book your call HERE.
